Chrome extension (Kordox Companion)

Kordox Companion puts capture where the work happens: save a page, a lead, a follow-up or a task into your ventures without leaving the tab you are on.

Install from the Chrome Web Store →

Signing in

There is no separate login. Sign in at app.kordox.com — magic link, Google, or a passkey — and the Companion picks up that session automatically. Signing out of the web app signs the extension out too, so the browser never holds access the app has given up.

What it does

  • Save to Read Later — right-click any page and choose Save to Read Later, or press Alt+Shift+K. Items land in your reading queue in Kordox.
  • Capture a lead — turn the page you are on into a lead in the venture you choose, keeping the page as context.
  • Add a follow-up or a task — with a due date, so it appears in My Work alongside everything else waiting on you.
  • Save a doc — keep a page, or your notes on it, in the Docs wiki.
  • Gmail — on an open thread the Companion shows who you are talking to and whether they are already a lead or customer, links straight into their record when they match, and offers + Lead and + Task without leaving the email.

Where captures land

Everything except Read Later is filed against a venture, so pick the one it belongs to when you capture. Read Later is personal and org-wide — it is not tied to a venture.

Troubleshooting

It says you are signed out. Open app.kordox.com in a tab and sign in. The extension mirrors the web session rather than holding its own, so that is all it takes.

The Gmail banner is not showing. It is optional — check the Gmail banner setting in the extension's options.

Captures go to the wrong venture. The venture picker remembers your last choice. Change it in the popup before saving.

Every project, one cockpit.
