Feedback & bug reports (Intake)
Your products have users, and users have things to tell you: an idea, a bug, a support request. Intake is where all of it lands — one cross-venture queue at Intake in the sidebar, with each report tied to the venture it came from.
Three kinds of signal, three homes:
| What arrives | Where it lands | Lifecycle |
|---|---|---|
| Improvement ideas | Intake → Feedback | New → Considering → Planned → Done / Declined |
| Bug reports | Intake → Issues | New → Confirmed → In progress → Fixed / Won't fix (+ severity) |
| Support requests | Tickets | New → Open → Waiting → Resolved, with the email conversation attached |
The one-click setup
Open Builder → Templates and apply the Product Intake template to a venture. It creates two draft forms for that venture — Suggest an improvement and Report a bug — with the right fields already in place. Review them, publish, and share or embed.
Three front doors
1. Embed a form in your product. Every published form has a hosted page (/f/your-org/bug-report), an iframe embed, and a floating-button widget — all brandable with your logo and colours (see Public forms). A submission becomes a feedback or issue record tagged with the form's venture. Bug-report forms carry a severity field; a High or Critical report also raises a signal in Triage so it can't slip past the morning review.
2. Give out an email address. Each org gets capture addresses per channel:
feedback+your-org.your-venture@inbox.kordox.com
bugs+your-org.your-venture@inbox.kordox.com
support+your-org.your-venture@inbox.kordox.comPut them behind your "Contact us" link, or forward your existing support mailbox. The subject becomes the title, the body the details, attachments come along (scanned first), and a sender who is already a customer is linked to their record automatically. Find your addresses under Lead Engine → Sources.
3. Post from your own UI. Any published form accepts a plain POST — use the copy-paste HTML snippet from the form's Embed panel to wire your own button or in-app dialog without loading anything of ours.
From signal to work
Each record shows its submitter, venture, status and details. When a report is worth acting on, Convert to task creates a task in the record's venture — severity maps to task priority — and links it back, so the report shows where the work went. From there it's ordinary work: My Work, the calendar, the cockpit.
Support email is richer still: replies from the customer thread into the same ticket, reopen it if it was resolved, and your reply goes out from the ticket itself.
Close the loop
Feedback carries who sent it. When you move a suggestion to Planned or Done, the record offers to tell that person — one email, from your brand and sending domain, in your language, sent once per status. Nothing goes out until you press Send update; you can add a line of your own first.
Per venture, Settings → Close the loop on feedback decides whether the offer opens by itself or waits behind a Notify submitter link. It is off by default, so nobody emails a customer by accident.
Who asked, and what they're worth
A feedback item can be linked to a customer: the email front door links a known sender automatically, a public form suggests the match for you to confirm (a stranger typed that address, so it proves nothing on its own), and the detail page lets you search and link one by hand.
Once linked, the intake list gains a Revenue behind column — the trailing 90-day revenue of the customer who asked, read from your ledger (paid invoices, paid bookings, and Stripe or Shopify payments matched by payer email). One click sorts the queue by it, so the request nobody-you-know made sinks to the bottom. The column only appears to members who can read finance data.
A public planned / shipped page
Each venture can publish a read-only roadmap — the feedback you marked public, grouped Planned and Shipped, under your brand, at /roadmap/your-org/your-venture (or /roadmap/your-venture on your own domain). Turn it on under the venture's Settings → Public roadmap, then tick Show on public roadmap on each item you want to show. Only the title, status and date are ever shown, and Request something points at the venture's own feedback form. No voting, no accounts.
