Docs — your connected wiki
Docs in the sidebar is a full wiki: nested pages, a block editor, search, templates, labels, and page history — living in the same graph as your ventures, clients, and money.
Pages & the tree
Pages nest under pages — a page with children acts as a folder. In the tree sidebar:
- New page: the + at the top; new sub-page: hover a page → +.
- Move a page: drag it onto another page to nest it there (the target highlights). Drag it onto the tree's title bar to move it back to the top level. Kordox blocks dropping a folder into its own subtree.
- Breadcrumbs: when a page is nested, the trail (Docs / Folder / Page) appears above the editor — every crumb is clickable.
The editor
A Notion-style block editor. Type / on an empty line for the block menu (scroll it for everything):
/callout— a tinted panel for notes. Click its icon to cycle info → warning → success./table— a real table block./pdf— embed a PDF inline (upload or link).- Headings, lists, images, files, video and audio embeds, quotes, code.
Everything autosaves; the header shows the save state.
Views, search, and organization
- Views: switch the index between tiles, list, and table (remembered per user).
- Search: full-text over titles and content, ranked with snippets.
- Venture docs: create docs inside a venture (its Docs tab) or filter the index by venture.
- Templates: start from SOP, meeting notes, or runbook scaffolds.
- Labels: tag pages for filtering and search facets.
- Page properties: Notion-style custom fields per doc (status, priority, or your own schema).
History
Kordox checkpoints the page body periodically as you edit. Open History in the editor to view checkpoints and restore any of them.
